Supports activities for both late stage development programs and discovery research programs. PhD preferred with experience in small molecule oral dosage formulation development. Our client, located on the west coast, is a large successful pharmaceutical company looking for scientifically strong candidates with leadership skills.. Position could be elevated to Associate Director for right candidate.

This person will lead a group of pharmaceutical science resources and activities which will include preformulation, formulation development, process development and scale-up of new dosage forms of existing drugs. This individual needs to be able to operate independently and have the ability to direct themselves and run a group of Ph.D., MS, and BS level scientists. They must have a broad based background in pharmaceutical drug development and medical devices. Ph.D. required in Pharmaceutics, Industrial Pharmacy, or Chemical Engineering and supervisory experience required. Excellent compensation and benefits. Mid Atlantict location.
